Guyana food safety consultant

Guyanese producers who want to sell food into the United States face U.S. rules before the product ever ships: registration with FDA, a U.S. Agent, and documentation their U.S. importer can rely on.

Why work with us

Our founder, a former Minnesota Department of Agriculture inspector, served as an officer in the Guyana Defence Force before moving to the United States, so we understand both sides of that trade.

U.S. requirements for food exported from Guyana

FDA food facility registration
Foreign facilities that make, process, pack or hold food for U.S. consumption register with FDA and renew that registration.
U.S. Agent
A registered foreign facility names a U.S. Agent who lives or has a place of business in the United States.
FSVP
Under the Foreign Supplier Verification Program, the U.S. importer verifies that its foreign suppliers produce food safely; your documents support that.
Prior notice
FDA receives notice of food shipments before they arrive in the United States.
